Meta's AI assistant, designed to answer user queries and generate images from text prompts" -- so it's a productivity tool then? I'm curious if they'll tailor responses for BPO use cases. We use a lot of AI internally here in Manila for customer service but it's all back-end. Wonder if this means more off-the-shelf solutions for client-facing stuff.

it's wild to see meta pushing into india and africa with this chatbot, especially for human-level cognition. I've been messing around with some of the japanese LLMs myself, trying to get them to handle more nuanced conversational flows. the data they'll get from such a massive, diverse user base like that must be insane. can only imagine how much it'll help refine their models. makes me want to try integrating some of my own stuff with whatsapp, even if it's just for personal projects.
